1.   Fulbright Scholarship USA
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals and artists from abroad to study and conduct research in the United States. The Fulbright Foreign Student Program operates in more than 155 countries worldwide. Approximately 4,000 foreign students receive Fulbright scholarships each year.
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is administered by binational Fulbright Commissions/Foundations or U.S. Embassies. All Foreign Student Program applications are processed by these offices.

  1.   Aga-Khan Foundation International Scholarship
The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from select developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies, in order to develop effective scholars and leaders and to prepare them for employment, primarily within the AKDN. Scholarships are awarded on a 50% grant : 50% loan basis through a competitive application process once a year in June or July. The Foundation gives priority to requests for Master’s level courses but is willing to consider applications for PhD programmes, only in the case of outstanding students who are highly recommended for doctoral studies by their professors and who need a PhD for the fulfilment of their career objectives (academic or research oriented).
  1.   Chevening Scholarship UK
Chevening is the UK Government’s international awards scheme aimed at developing global leaders. Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations, Chevening offers two types of award – Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships – the recipients of which are personally selected by British embassies and high commissions throughout the world.
Chevening offers a unique opportunity for future leaders and influencers from all over the world to develop professionally and academically, network extensively, experience UK culture, and build lasting positive relationships with the UK.
  1.   Endeavour Scholarships Australia
The Australia Awards–Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are the Australian Government’s competitive, merit-based scholarships and fellowships providing opportunities for Australians to undertake study, research or professional development overseas and for overseas citizens to do the same in Australia.
The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships build Australia’s reputation for excellence in the provision of education and research, support the internationalisation of the Australian higher education and research sectors and offer high-achieving Australians opportunities to increase their knowledge and expertise in their field.
  1.   OFID International Scholarship 
OFID awards its scholarships to qualified applicants who have obtained or are on the verge of completing their undergraduate degree and who wish to study for a Master’s degree.
Applicants must be from a developing country (except OFID Member Countries), and he/she must first obtain admission to pursue a Master’s degree studies in a relevant field of development, from any recognized university/college in the world.
Through its scholarship scheme, OFID aims to help highly motivated, highly driven individuals overcome one of the biggest challenges to their careers – the cost of graduate studies.
  1.   Australia Award ScholarshipAustralia Awards Scholarships are long term development awards administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
    They aim to contribute to the long term development needs of Australia’s partner countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements.
    They provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those countries located in the Indo-Pacific region, to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.
    The study and research opportunities provided by Australia Awards Scholarships develop skills and knowledge of individuals to drive change and contribute to the development outcomes of their own country.
  1.   Swedish Scholarship Sweden
The Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS) are awarded to students from selected countries for full-time master’s level studies in Sweden starting in the autumn semester 2017.
Kindly note that the deadline for applying for SI scholarships for master’s studies starting in the autumn semester 2017 has passed. Next call will be at the end of 2017 for master’s studies starting in the autumn semester 2018. The eligibility criteria as well as the application procedure and key dates may differ from this year.
  1.   VLIR-UOS Scholarship Belgium
A call for scholarship applications is launched every year in October. The deadlinedepends on the training or Master programme you are applying for. More information on how to apply for a scholarship.
  1.  NZAID Scholarship New-Zealand
The New Zealand Aid Programme offers several different types of scholarship. Most are for full-time tertiary study in New Zealand. Other scholarship types are for study in a Pacific Island Country university or for shorter-term training vocational or English language training.

There are four types of scholarships for full-time tertiary level study in New Zealand:

  1.  DAAD Scholarship Germany
With its development-oriented postgraduate study programmes, the DAAD promotes the training of specialists from development and newly industrialised countries. Well-trained local experts, who are networked with international partners, play an important part in the sustainable development of their countries. They are the best guarantee for a better future with less poverty, more education and health for all. The scholarships offer foreign graduates from development and newly industrialised countries from all disciplines and with at least two years’ professional experience the chance to take a postgraduate or Master’s degree at a state or state-recognised German university, and in exceptional cases to take a doctoral degree, and to obtain a university qualification (Master’s/PhD) in Germany.
  1.  Singapore-Industry Scholarship, Singapore

Full-Term

Young Singapore citizens who are about to embark on their full-time local undergraduate studies are eligible for the SgIS Full-Term.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Singapore Citizen
  • Good GCE ‘A’ Level results (at least 10 academic units), International Baccalaureate, NUS High School Diploma or Polytechnic Diploma
  • Seeking admission or have been accepted for admission to the following institutions across all disciplines (excluding Dentistry / Medicine and other healthcare-related disciplines):
    • Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
    • National University of Singapore (NUS)
    • Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)
    • Singapore Management University (SMU)
    • Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)
    • Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)
  • Good co-curricular activities record and leadership achievements
  • Passion to contribute to Singapore’s strategic sectors
